That you were the first artist I listened to when I joined for the very first time back in July. I knew you were good and produced some amazing stuff.

I didn't like the buildup to the slow part as much as I liked it on the demo. :[
The hat killed my ears it was really overpowering everything, it might just be the fact that I don't like really high sounds though...
But after that it was just unbelievable, really. If I was better at this I'm sure I would probably be able to give you a better review. But in the meantime... This song is just godlike, insane!

Being a guitarist I can't help but HATE FL Slayer. Thats not what hurt this track though, it was the snare drum... It was WAY too loud.
Honestly if this were EQd better and the FL guitar sounded less... Slayery :P this would be tons better.
Maybe you could send me the .flp I could help you out a little bit?

I don't know why that works for me, but if you think about it. There's a gun type sound in the background somewhere...
Me also being a guitarist I definitely agree with you. I absolutely hate fl slayer. but i'm on a new laptop and haven't gotten very far on adding any sound fonts. But i'd love to send it to you. And yes I also agree with the snare being way too loud.

This is not completely ripped. The only thing I can tell ****MIGHT**** be ripped are the strings and piano. Obviously the vocals are ripped.
This is very original compared to the original.
Though I do think ripping the vocals is a copyright infringement. Unless she got permission, which I highly doubt.
Other than the vocal legitimacy this is an amazing track. 100x better than the Cascada original.

Equipment issues aside.
I'm right there with you on the no lessons thing. So I know how it feels.
A few pointers: You're pressing down way to hard and also picking too hard.
Just relax and let your heart do the work, not your fingers and your mind.
Also, never use amp overdrives... Ever. 'cause that's exactly what this sounds like. I HIGHLY recommend that you get yourself a decent multi-effects pedal.
I use a Zoom G2.1u pedal, about $170 found in most guitar shops. There's a $100 version that doesn't have the pedal, same effects, no pedal. :[
I love the idea you have going here. It's a nice progression, it's very dirty, blending wasn't done so nicely. But that's alright, I get what you were trying to do here.
Just keep working on that recording. Or see if one of the other guitar guys will help you out, I don't really have any tricks or secrets 'cause I don't use a program to set up the EQ and all that good stuff.
