You do not know John, John does not know you.

You don't sing with/for him. You don't do his mixing. The songs are not written for your "mate who died in 2006."

John does his recording at home, he plays/sings/mixes everything with no help. This is a side project of his, he's usually a touring drummer for bands in his area. Actually, he's more of a photographer than anything.

So please stop telling people you know him and help him, it's all bullshit.
Just let John take 100% credit.

Two things I like very much about a song!
I just wish you were able to get some better mixing. 'cause you have really good tracks, you're just lacking the proper mixing. But no worries, it doesn't kill your score too much. :]

It's slower than most stuff I've heard. But it makes you want to get up and dance!
It might sound good with vocals too, I'm not sure...

Anyway, it's a bit fuzzy throughout during the more crowded sections and when the kicks come in, or maybe that's bass? Either way, it's a bit fuzzy. But I only took off 1 point for that. :]

Overall, very, very good tune. :]
