Starting off with my profession, guitar.
The acoustic sounds great, I really like its tone. But you sent it way back behind the piano and your voice. ):
Secondly,
Your voice is not bad, actually. A breath of fresh air compared to some other vocalists that come on here. (: You need a little more power behind it though. And I'm not sure if you did any mixing on the vocals. But I recommend bringing up your highs and mids a tad. The lows are really bringing down the quality. OH! The lyrics are nice too (:
And finally,
The piano sounds like it's got a chorus or something on it? I recommend taking that off and perhaps add compression and turning the volume up as well.
Overall, the guitar and piano being so far back in the mix breaks my heart, since instruments really bring out pieces like this. Yes, the vocals convey the emotion the most. But the instruments are there to emphasize and capture the listener.
I would love to hear a revised mixed and mastered version of this!
Great job! (:

Its only redeeming quality is the piano, and even that's terrible.
I don't understand why this is something that everyone loves so much.
It's mixed terribly, and it's extremely repetitive.
Turn down the reverb, mix and master it and it MIGHT sound OKAY.
But not good enough for top 30.

"T'was love at first.. Listen!"
I love how GOA Trance just jumps at you like, "Here I am!" and just smacks you across the face!
You do a great job at making the slap more physical... That's a compliment... heh..
5/5, 10/10, fave artist, fave song, downloaded.
I believe that's the full roster buddy. (:

A late response, but a late response is better than none at all. Thanks man, I really appreciate the support; I've been slowing down a lot ever since this track and "I Thank You", but I'll have a new song out soon D:
Thanks again for the flattering review, man!

That the picking noise was so loud. ):
It kinda killed your ringing section.
Maybe if you had used either the neck or a combination of neck and bridge pickups it would have had a better tone.
No problem though! This sounds great, very relaxed. Lots of feeling, very fluid. Great work Noir. (:

I'd wipe this out if I had a mic for my guitar though >:]
Great job! Amaazing man, creepy and perfect for Madness!
Author's Response:
Haha, yeah the guitar I agree is really simple in this track (I can play guitar properly btw), it was mainly just there to give it a little more drive and a bit of a kick to it, rather then it have leads/solo's that would over power everything.
Thanks for your input mate!

Our producer had slain somewhere around five thousand men.
Seriously, do you ever run out of ammo!?

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SONG ON WC3!!!
This brings back so many memories!
FUCKKK!!! I love it!!!
((Mixing needs some work and there's a bit too much compression. :o))
Author's Response:
Haha, yeah, was one of my favourite songs on WC3 aswell. When I heard it again, I knew I had to do this song :P
Thanks for your review man (also, the song's now been re-mastered (mixed), so over-compression should not be a problem anymore).

Great song man, keep it up. I've never heard of you 'til now.
The way you've pieced everything together sounds terrific, and the mixing and mastering are also high points of the track.
Great job. :]
