I was cruisin' around on Guitar Center all day yesterday just lookin' around. When I realized, my gear sucks ass.

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard.
A discontinued Crate DXB112 30watt amp
A Zoom G2 multi-effects pedal.

That's IT

And I say I want to be a performing musician?
Wow...

So I started lookin' up stuff and got really carried away with it.
So carried away in fact that the grand total of everything I was checkin' out added up to somethin' like $18,300.00 they're not necessities. Just stuff I would really, really, really like to have. :P

Choosing all these things I had two things in mind.

Price, and quality based on reviews and personal experience.

I've played all of the guitars, I've used the amp and effects.
I've used most of the recording equipment.

However, I have NO experience whatsoever with any of the rack equipment. So over the course of the next few years I'll be experimenting with all of that.

And if any of you guitarists out there want to tell about about stuff I'm possibly missing as far as a live/recording setup goes. Feel free to chime in, I need all the help I can get.

In other news, I'll be 16 in 24 days as well as a one year member of NG.
I'm buying a Line 6 TonePort UX2, and a Weeping Demon Wah with the birthday money.
That's two things off the list :]
